Spring has finally sprung and that means the allergy season has kicked off too. One in four Brits suffer from home-based allergies brought out by pollen, pets and dust.

Only one in ten take measures to actively reduce the levels of allergens in their home, such as washing clothes, bedding and towels more frequently and at higher temperatures.

According to the Hotpoint Allergy Report, one in six people have woken up with itching or rashes they couldn't explain, whilst four in ten thought a specific item of clothing, towel or bed linen has made them suffer. Not surprising when one in seven confess they have left their bed sheets to fester for more than three months without changing.
