Fresh Thinking Recipe Challenge

Hotpoint are celebrating the issue of food waste, with a chance to win a place at a pop-up café diner, opened by Jamie Oliver himself.*

At Hotpoint, we want to promote Food Care Culture and show you guys that although some food left in your fridge may be looking a little limp, it can be re-used and doesn't have to be lost. That's why we are working alongside Jamie Oliver in our Fresh Thinking for Forgotten Food campaign to educate the nation on food waste and how forgotten foods can be re-used and transformed into tasty nutritious meals.

We value the idea that surplus foods can be made into delicious recipes, which is why we are working closely with UK charity Food Cycle to tackle the issue of food waste, as last year they impressively transformed 270 tonnes of surplus food into nutritious meals for the community. THE UK'S TOP TEN MOST WASTED FOODS

Our Hotpoint roadshow will have fun and interactive activities taking place outside the front of the truck teaching you about the UK's top 10 wasted foods.

Inside there will be cooking demos, along with tips and tricks on how to reinvent your leftovers. Not only will it be a great chance to raise awareness about the issue of food waste, guests will be able to explore our intelligent products and see how their innovative technology can preserve food for longer, and help to cook up delicious meals.

THE HOTPOINT FRESH THINKING ROADSHOW

The Hotpoint Fresh Thinking Roadshow will be touring the UK this summer to educate the nation on the issue of food waste. The Hotpoint team will be coming to show you that there are delicious alternative ways to use up your leftover food, saving you money and energy.

We will be coming to the following locations:


Stop 1. Camp Bestival (Dorset) - 27th to 29th July

Stop 2. The Mall at Cribbs Causeway (Bristol) - 4th to 5th August

Stop 3. Lakeside Shopping Centre (Essex) - 1st to 2nd September

Stop 4. The Trafford Centre (Manchester) - 8th to 9th September

Stop 5. Silverburn Shopping Centre (Glasgow) - To be confirmed

Pop-up Finale Café (9th to 11th OCTOBER)
