Gloucestershire GB Family cook
Heats up quickly once you get used to turning it up full to start then down. Pretty much prevents boiling over with temperature cut off, bonus! Easily controlled and a doddle to keep clean. Had similar model for the last 15 years also Hotpoint and am happy to stick with them although the build quality is not quite as robust as it used to be, as with most things. If limited for space this is a good little cooker with a lot of useful features.
The only small criticism is the closure of the oven door. I am used to it as my other Hotpoint cooker needed the same gentle slam to close but anyone new to them may think it should push shut easier. Nothing else to find fault with.

The HUE53PS Ceramic Double Oven measures in at 50 cm wide, which is narrower than standard cookers, great if you have little space to play within your kitchen and with it being a ceramic hob it’s a doddle to clean too. You get a combined 82 litres space split across two ovens with a ceramic hob on top ideal for a household of 2-3 people. The main oven has a fan which distributes heat evenly reducing cooking time. The smaller oven is conventional, so heat rises to the top. Great for cooking different dishes at the same time. And it has a grill. With it being variable too, you don’t have to use the whole element for snacks like cheese on toast, saving you on your energy bills. Another handy feature is the catalytic liners. They make cleaning a lot easier as they absorb grease and dirt in your oven before burning it away.
